What is e-safety all about?

Young people have grown up surrounded by technology.  This technology is a wonderful and powerful tool that can bring many benefits to education. It is important to ensure that we equip young people with the knowledge, skills and understanding to use technology in a safe way and minimise any potential risks that they may face.

When thinking about e-safety it is important to realise that we are not just talking about the use of the internet or PC's.  E-safety requires us to think about how young people use mobile phones, digital cameras, laptops, games consoles etc
